HISTORY AND GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Clinical Disciplines has been organized since the formation of the Faculty of Medicine of the University, and is one of the basic departments in the system of medical education. The main task of the Department of Clinical Disciplines is the formation of modern fundamental knowledge about the structure of the human body. The teaching of human anatomy is carried out taking into account functional and clinical positions. For all sections of the discipline «human anatomy», the department has developed teaching aids and is working to improve the teaching and methodological part.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY OF THE DEPARTMENT

Teaching at the department is carried out on natural environmentally friendly anatomical preparations made by the method of polymer embalming. In the process of learning, students have the opportunity to independently study complex anatomical preparations, in addition, the department has a unique simulation center that reflects all sections of the discipline.

RESEARCH WORK

main directions of scientific activity of the department:

Development of scientific new ways of teaching, as well as embalming of anatomical and biological objects;
Functional anatomy of blood vessels, experiments in the clinics of the University;
Applied anatomical and clinical research

EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENT

The teaching staff of the department performs a lot of educational and methodological work, including the development of teaching aids. Teachers of the Department of «Clinical Disciplines» developed documents on all readable disciplines for students. There are all technical and information possibilities for carrying out the module-rating control of students’ knowledge. For some disciplines, modules are accepted in the Ebilim test system. To activate independent work, the ability and development of the skill to work with scientific literature, programs of independent work of students have been developed.
