Askar Maatkabylovich Salymbekov (born February 5, 1955, Kara-Suu, Tien Shan region) is a public figure and philanthropist, honorary president of the Dordoi Association, founder of the Foundation for the implementation of educational, scientific, charitable, patriotic and environmental projects that have a great positive influence on the younger generation and youth.

In 2019, on his initiative, the Salymbekov University Institution was established, the main goal of which is to provide quality education using international technologies and standards for both citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign citizens. An important factor in the creation of the University was the need to create a common platform to combine all projects and created activities into one single center for more effective management and control, as well as for the possibility of introducing high-quality affordable education for all categories of citizens.

Askar Salymbekov provides financial assistance and support to socially vulnerable segments of the population, medical and social institutions, athletes, students, cultural and art workers on an ongoing basis. Among them are the Southern Regional Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery (YURNTSSSH) under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the public fund «Umut Shamy» (construction of the Center for visually impaired people), the creation of feature films and documentaries, the publication of books and monographs, the organization of archaeological excavations, the training of gifted students, and much more.

Amangeldi Zhumadilovich Zhumadilov (b. March 19, 1987), PhD — General Director of the Askar Salymbekov Foundation and founder, President of the Salymbekov University Institution. Amangeldi Zhumadilov is the initiator and direct leader of a number of scientific, educational, charitable projects implemented by the Foundation and the coordinator of many projects under the direct mentorship of Askar Salymbekov. He graduated with honors from the doctoral studies (PhD) of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University «Manas» in the specialty «Economics», a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree from the same University.

Esengeldi Zhumadilovich Zhumadilov (b. March 19, 1987), PhD — Executive Director of the Askar Salymbekov Foundation and founder, Rector of the Salymbekov University Institution.

Esengeldi Zhumadilov is the initiator and direct leader of a number of scientific, educational, charitable projects implemented by the Foundation and the coordinator of many projects under the direct mentorship of Askar Salymbekov. He graduated with honors from the doctoral studies (PhD) of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University «Manas» in the specialty «Economics», a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree from the same University.
